Exhibition of Animal Food and Feeding

Animals feed on a wide variety of foodstuffs from sulphur metabolising bacteria to wood and whales and deal with it in as many different ways; they crop, catch, crunch, suck, absorb, filter and munch. This exhibition will explore the foods that different animals use and how they obtain and process them. It will be illustrated with animal and plant specimens from the Museum of Life Sciences collections.
