The Department of History

The Department of History at King’s College London is acknowledged as one of the best in the country. We are 4th in the 2010 Guardian rankings for History. Both our teaching and research have consistently received exceptionally high ratings in league tables, teaching assessments and the RAE. This success is also reflected in the outstanding results we have achieved in the National Student Survey. We have a thriving graduate community and our undergraduates go on to a variety of careers and further study.

New Master's by Research programme launched
The Department of History has launched an exciting new MRes programme which will start in 2010. Applications will be accepted from September 2009 onwards.
