Dr Mark Textor
Mark did his undergraduate and graduate work in Hamburg, where he wrote a PhD on Bernard Bolzano's theory of propositions (published as Bolzanos Propositionalismus, Berlin/New York 1996). He held postdoctoral positions in the programme for cognitive science in Hamburg and the Center for the Study of Language and Information, Stanford University. He has taught in Hamburg, Munich and Bern.
His main interests are in logic and metaphysics, epistemology and philosophy of language. He is also interested in the history of analytic philosophy (see for example the collection The Austrian Contribution, London 2006). He is currently working on a book about Frege.
