King's has a particular strength in Medical Law and Ethics as a result of the Centre of Medical Law and Ethics (the first of its kind in the UK) which run the long-standing MA Medical Ethics & Law and the new LLM in Medical Law. You study in seminars which include students from legal and medical backgrounds, providing unique insights into the effects of law on the reality of medical practice. Our faculty are experienced in teaching students from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Their research interests are wide-ranging and complementary, including end of life issues, reproductive ethics and law, social justice and resource allocation, mental health law and psychiatric ethics.
