Electrical Safety

If you have brought electrical equipment with you there are some important things you need to know.

  • If your electrical equipment is from outside the  UK make sure you purchase a plug adapter that is compliant with British Standard BS 1363 so that your equipment will be safe to use.
  • Do not overload the plug sockets in your room
  • Do not plug in more than one extension lead into a wall socket
  • Do not use block plug adapters
