In King’s Strategic Vision 2029, we have committed ourselves to valuing education and research equally as twin parts of our academic mission.
In order to support this aspect of the Strategic Vision, the Academic Education Pathway (AEP) enables appropriate recognition, reward and opportunities for advancement for exceptional educators at King’s, and to allow us to offer an attractive package for new appointments of academic staff who will contribute to enhancing educational quality and innovation.
The AEP provides a specialist academic contract that focuses on the delivery of education, education-related scholarship, and leadership in education.
The AEP Network brings together colleagues from across the College who are contributing to enhancing educational quality and innovation. The network enables them to;
- Connect to other AEP colleagues
- Contribute towards institutional educational initiatives and activities
- Share and collaborate on educational scholarship and research activities
