10th Japan-Korea-China Symposium on Ancient Western History Held

The 10th Japan-Korea-China Symposium on Ancient Western History - the first hosted in China - was held at Capital Normal University, Beijing, on 19-20 October 2013. 

The Department of Classics was strongly represented by four participants: Professor Dominic Rathbone, two current PhD students, Kee-Hyun Ban and Sangduk Lee, and a former visiting PhD student and Canon Research Fellow, Dr Noboru Sato. Several of the Chinese scholars are pupils of Professor Huang Yang (on sabbatical at Washington DC), who completed his PhD at King's in 1991.
