East End Classics Centre event

Professor Edith Hall and Dr Rosie Wyles were keynote speakers at a Tragedy day on 27 January.  Held at the East End Classics Centre, based at Brooke House Sixth Form College (BSix) in Hackney, the event was open to all schools and colleges in the East End.  Professor Hall spoke on 'What causes Greek tragedy? Bad luck or bad behaviour?' and Dr Wyles on 'Women and Gender in Greek Tragedy'.  A large and lively sixth-form audience was in attendance and speakers and students had an enjoyable and educational day.
