Oroscoptic Loupes Prize
At the end of the 2014-2015 academic year all removable prothosthodontic clinical tutors were asked to nominate one student whom they felt had produced the best work, enthusiasm and progression on the subject for the year.
From these nominations the student who scored highest at the end of year 'oral assessment' would then be selected as the winner of the prize which was a set of dental loupes donated by Dental Loupes Co. Orascoptic.
BDS3 student Hiran Patel was recently presented with this prize: “I'm very grateful to have received this prize, I'd like to say a very big thank you to all my clinical tutors and Ken for developing my clinical knowledge, skills and support they've given me throughout the year (also for putting up with my numerous questions)! It's still quite a surprise receiving the loupes, the hope is to improve further with them” he enthuses.
