Hello Canada!

CDA Oasis is a Canadian Knowledge Network designed to promote and package the latest dental research in an engaging and accessible way, digging beyond the abstract and discussing the findings and applications of research papers with their authors.

Drs Austin and Moazzez were distinguished guests this month, speaking about a recent article they co-authored in the British Dental Journal, titled: Medical conditions and erosive tooth wear. Dental professionals can identify signs and symptoms that suggest that an individual’s erosive tooth wear may be linked to a broader medical problem than just poor diet. As such, they play an important role in identifying underlying medical causes for erosive tooth wear and help prevent the likelihood of further deterioration in the individual’s oral health.
