The Fund mobilises societies to run initiatives that offer King’s students the opportunity to have entrepreneurial experiences, be innovative and develop transferable skills that enhance their futures and King's experience.

The Entrepreneurship Support Fund, open to all King’s societies and student groups, encourages committee members to think creatively and come up with innovative ways to engage their members.

Examples of initiatives supported include student-run workshops to develop practical skills in emerging innovation within course areas, networking events, hackathons, incubators, competitions, wellbeing and charity events, film screenings, entrepreneur's cafes,  awareness nights, meet & greets, company visits & debates.

Hemali Patel, Engagement Manager at the Entrepreneurship Institute said,

“Thank you to all the societies who applied, this year we had a record number of applications and funds awarded. It was fantastic to see so many innovative ideas submitted by a range of societies, from both conventional and unconventional backgrounds. Entrepreneurship takes many different forms and applies to societies with any interest or passion and we’re excited to work with so many inspirational students and to enhance their experience at King's."

Muhammad Altalib, Advisor, Entrepreneurs Society said,

"The Support Fund has enabled us to expand our society's reach and experiment with exciting new events and initiatives to engage our members. A big thank you to the Entrepreneurship Institute for their continuing support."
