The London Venture Crawl. 30 innovation hubs, 200 students, infinite possibilities...
After the success of last year's Venture Crawl, we've teamed up with 8 other universities for the ultimate London Venture Crawl.
On Wednesday 14 March 2018, 200 university students studying subjects as diverse as fashion, computer science, medicine and law will embark on a 12 hour entrepreneurial journey. 6 iconic Routemaster buses will travel on uniquely-designed routes, stopping off for talks, workshops and bespoke tours at organisations and workspaces including Amazon Fashion, Hello Fresh, Deliveroo, Barclays, Innovation Warehouse, Digital Catapult, Makerversity, Wayra and Campus Lonon - A Google space.
VIP passengers will be hopping on board the buses to share their stories and stimulate conversations, peer-to-peer learning and idea sharing. They include: Rachel Arthur, award-winning journalist and founder of FashMash, Carlton Cummins, Cofounder of Aceleron and Winner of the Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and Deepak Tailor, Founder of LatestFreeStuff.co.uk and BBC Dragons’ Den winner.
The event, designed to give students the opportunity to connect to real-world businesses, be inspired by industry leaders, gain new skills and get feedback about their startup ideas will end at Plexal at Here East in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The event is also a chance for students to learn from people one step ahead of them - shown as vital for the progression of early-stage entrepreneurs.
Diane Perlman, Founder of Microsoft ventures and CMO of video ad tech company Unruly will give an inspirational keynote and Q&A with a chance for students to share their experiences, connect with each other and have a chance for some well-earned reflection over food and drinks.
