Dina Asher-Smith sets new British record for 100m

Congratulations to BA History student Dina Asher-Smith who set a new 100m British record on Sunday, making her the fastest female sprinter in Britain.

Nineteen year-old Dina was competing at the FBK Games in Hengelo and finished second in a time of 11.02 seconds. The time was was 0.012 seconds faster than her personal best and 0.03 seconds faster than the previous record which was set seven years ago by Montell Douglas.
