Professor lectures on text redundancies
Professor Maxime Crochemore has delivered four invited lectures on Text Redundancies at the third Conference School on Combinatorics, Automata and Number Theory, CANT 2012. This meeting is meant to be both an international summer school and conference. To reach these complementary goals, high quality lecturers of international recognition are selected. Their scientific and pedagogical capabilities attract a wide audience including Ph.D. students and young researchers as well as more mature researchers.
The conference was held at Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques (Marseille, France) on 21 - 25 May 2012 and was attended by around 90 participants, composed mostly of PhD students from Computer Science and Mathematics.
Five other invited senior researchers from Turku, Montreal, Paris, Jerusalem and Winnipeg gave lectures on Combinatorics. The programme included also several other contributions by young researchers."Bouillabaisse" was the main meal of the last supper!
More information and slides of talks can be found at the CANT 2012 website.
