Informatics Professor appointed Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Vehicular Technology Society
Professor Arumugam Nallanathan, of the Department of Informatics, has been appointed as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS) from 1 July 2014. The IEEE VTS Distinguished Lecturer Program provides VTS local chapters throughout the world with presentations by experts on topics of interest and importance to the vehicular technology membership community.
Professor Nallanathan is a member of the Centre for Telecommunications Research group in the Department of Informatics. He published more than 200 technical papers (including 70 IEEE Transactions papers) in the area of wireless communications. His current research includes Millimetre wave communications, Massive MIMO, Cognitive Radio and small cell networks. He is an Editor of IEEE Transactions on Communications and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology.
