Open Graph Initiative partnership with Affectv

Dr Katarzyna Musial-Gabrys from the Department of Informatics has recently initiated collaboration with Affectv company. The result of this link is the Open Graph Initiative in which the Department of Informatics is a partner.

Affectv has access to massive data about users and their activities. The main aim of the Open Graph Initiative is to uncover trends in human behaviour and investigate how social interactions affect businesses. The Open Graph Initiative makes public data from over 50 of Europe’s largest social platforms and organises competitions that aim at analysing this data.

If you are interested in social networks and would like to analyse big data about people and their activities this challenge is for you! For further information please contact Dr Musial-Gabrys (katarzyna.musial@kcl.ac.uk) or visit the website.

Dr Musial-Gabrys is a Lecturer in the Agents and Intelligent Systems research group. Her research interests include large complex networks analysis, dynamics and evolution of networks and predictive modelling of relational data.
