Professor's new book on programming languages
Maribel Fernandez, Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Informatics and head of the Software Modelling and Applied Logic group (SMAL), has recently published a book entitled "Programming Languages and Operational Semantics: A Concise Overview".
The book explains in a concise way the most significant constructs of modern imperative, functional and logic programming languages, providing the foundations and tools needed to design new programming languages and understand existing ones. It has been published by Springer in the Undergraduate Topics in Computer Science (UTiCS) series.
