Lecturer receives $100,000 grant from Oracle

Dr. Laurence Tratt, from the Department of Informatics, received a $100,000 grant from the large software company Oracle for the "Heterogeneous Editors" project, which will investigate how mixed programming languages can be edited within a single tool. The project will start in August 2012 and run for 12 months.

Laurence Tratt is a member of the Software Modelling and Applied Logic group. His research interests include  programming language design and implementation and domain specific languages.
