King's welcomes new Executive Director for Fundraising

King’s College London and King’s Health Partners are delighted to announce the appointment of Jennie Younger as its new Executive Director, Fundraising & Supporter Development.
In this pivotal role, Jennie will be leading our strong team of fundraising, alumni engagement, communications and operations professionals to deliver an integrated fundraising and engagement programme across King’s College London and King’s Health Partners. This unique collaboration, which unites hospital and university fundraising in one team, spans the full breadth of activity from major giving to mass fundraising including individuals, trusts and foundations, corporates and the community.
Historically, King’s fundraising has helped us to answer some of the world’s most pressing issues; from discovering a vaccine for leukaemia; to making education accessible through more student scholarships; and bringing world leading cancer research and treatment under one roof. King’s will continue to address some of the world's most pressing and complex challenges, focusing on its world-leading education, research and service, in order to make a real and positive difference. Our fundraising and supporter development programme is fundamental to achieving this ambition.
“I am delighted to be joining King’s at such an important time, and am looking forward to building on the exceptional successes and to leading Fundraising & Supporter Development in this exciting new phase for King's," said Jennie, who joins King's from AstraZeneca.
President and Principal of King’s College London, Professor Ed Byrne added: “Jennie’s global corporate insight, stakeholder relationship skills and proven strategic focus are qualities that will add considerable value to fulfilling King’s ambitions for the future and our vital fundraising and supporter development activity.”
