Further job successes for King's PhD students
The Dickson Poon School of Law would like to congratulate several of its PhD students who have secured prestigious positions in UK universities.
Bryan Druzin successfully defended his thesis this week, passing without amendments. Bryan is currently a Lecturer at Brunel University but is about to take up a new position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His thesis was supervised by Jan Dalhuisen and Michael Schillig.
Jacopo Martire, who defended his thesis in March, has just been appointed to the position of Lecturer at the University of Stirling. His thesis was supervised by Mary Vogel and Roger Brownsword.
Thomas MacManus took up his post as postdoctoral researcher with the International State Crime Initiative on June 1. His thesis was defended in early Spring and was supervised by Penny Green and Leif Wenar.
Katerina Maniadaki has recently been appointed to a position at OfCom (Regulator & Competititon Authority for the Telecommunications Industry). Her thesis was supervised by Richard Whish and Roger Brownsword.
Dorte Hoeg, who defended her thesis earlier this academic year, has been awarded a publishing contract by Hart Publishing for a monograph based on her thesis.
Vanja Hamzic, whose thesis is being supervised by Robert Wintemute and Penny Green, has been appointed to a Lectureship at City University London.
