Dr Schillig trains Cambodian Judges

Dr Michael Schillig is currently conducting a week-long training workshop for commercial and student judges at the Royal Academy for Judicial Professions (RAJP) in Cambodia.
The training is sponsored by the British Embassy Phnom Penh with the aim of supporting legal and judicial reform.

A spokesperson for the Embassy said: ‘The workshop will help commercial judges and judge students to learn critical jurisprudence theories and accompanying practices in handling commercial and insolvency cases. Using this workshop’s legacy, the RAJP will be able to train more judges in the future to help improve the business environment in Cambodia.'
Dr Schillig is Senior Lecturer in International Commercial & Financial Law in The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London.
