About the sessions
The Fit to Perform classes are taught by Flynn Coleman, a lawyer and the founding mindfulness teacher at King's College Dickson Poon School of Law.
The classes will include a creative array of practices, discussions, tips, exercises, and ideas for enhancing your productivity, happiness, relaxation, focus, balance, overall health, and wellbeing in law school and beyond.
Flynn says, "We will explore such concepts as the best ways to prepare for your studies and exams, how to manage time, energy, and stress, and how to figure out what you want to do next in your career.”
You may attend either or both of the classes each week. No previous experience is necessary and all are welcome to attend. Matts will be provided but please feel free to bring your own.
What is fit to perform?
The purpose of Fit to Perform is to provide students with an opportunity to explore their studies through motivational sessions as well as some active classes.
Whilst there a number of support facilities available at the College, the School aims to implement a programme that will enable students to manage and balance the inevitable challenges that come with a law degree as well as to enhance their learning through wellness.
