King's research contributes to Cabinet Office recommendations

David Mosey

Research conducted by Professor David Mosey, Director of the Centre for Construction Law in The Dickson Poon School of Law, has been published as Cabinet Office draft guidance.

‘New Models of Construction Procurement Draft Guidance’ has been published to help reduce waste and improve relationships when procuring public sector construction projects.

The guidance has received strong messages of support from Minister for Civil Society Nick Hurd MP and from Government Chief Construction Adviser Peter Hansford.

Professor Mosey said, 'This publication represents an important milestone for the Centre in our research as to the impact of new procurement  models on the value delivered through public sector construction projects. We will track closely the take up of our new Guidance by clients and the construction industry.'
