Christian Crohn, winner of: The Dickson Poon School of Law prize for best dissertation by a student on the LLM in Transnational Law.

'Being awarded the prize for the best dissertation on the LLM in Transnational Law is a great honour given that there were so many outstanding and talented fellow graduates deserving of it. I am very thankful to my dissertation supervisor Cindy Skach and my pathway leader Peer Zumbansen for their intellectual stimulus and encouragement on my way to the finish line. Being surrounded by such highly motivated scholars and inspiring students, made my year at King's one of the happiest times of my life. The transnational law studies have truly turned us students from citizens of our respective home countries to citizens of the world while the studies in general interconnected us with new friends from all around the globe, bringing people from far away places such as Brazil or Australia close to our hearts. Besides the rich academic input, it is those lasting friendships that I am the most grateful for because they will perpetuate the intellectual and intercultural journey that began at King's.'
