Academic Network for Women Launched

The London Women Law Academics Network met at The Dickson Poon School of Law this week.

The network aims to connect women academics within London and further afield to provide information, support and mentoring for research and academic leadership.

A series of work in progress seminars have been scheduled to commence in August 2013, to provide a forum for all researchers, especially early career researchers, to present their work. A network event is also planned to mark International Women's Day in March 2014.

Professor Maleiha Malik said it is a fantastic initiative for women law academics to create a supportive network collaborate on research and academic leadership as well as sharing successes.
