League Table reveals King's has highest employability rating of London Law Schools
The Guardian’s 2014 League Table, released in June, revealed The Dickson Poon School of Law has the highest employability after 6 months rating of all London Law schools.
84% of our graduates were in employment or further education 6 months after graduating.
Overall King’s placed 7th, up two places from The Guardian’s 2013 Law League Table. The League Table also shows 90% of our students are satisfied with teaching at The Dickson Poon School of Law.
Helen Lovegrove, Careers Consultant for The Dickson Poon School of Law, said she was pleased see such a high percentage of King’s Law students in employment or further education six months after graduating. “We’ve been working with King’s Law students right throughout their education to place them in the best possible position to gain employment upon graduating. We bring employers in to speak with our students from the first year of their LLB programme to advise them on how to develop their personal skills alongside their academic skills in order to succeed in a career in Law. We also hold a Law Fair each year with more than seventy law firms who actively target King’s students. We will continue to build upon these initiatives to ensure a very high percentage of King’s Law students gain employment in their chosen field upon graduating.”
