Lord Judge lecture for first year law students
The Right Honourable The Lord Judge will be discussing the reasons for studying law in an exclusive lecture aimed at first year law students on Tuesday 17 October.
Until 30 September this year Lord Judge was the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales and he has recently been awarded an honorary doctorate by King’s. Lord Judge is well aware of the challenges and choices that law students and new lawyers face as they begin their careers, and he specifically asked to speak to first year law students on this topic.
Lord Judge will look at the various career options, discussing in particular some less common options open to law graduates.
This is an outstanding opportunity for first year law students to hear from a jurist who until just over a week ago held one of the highest and most influential legal positions in the United Kingdom and who, at his recent valedictory farewell at the Royal Courts of Justice, was described as "one of our greatest Chief Justices".
Any first year law students who would like to attend must register. Please sign up via this link
