Mathematics fellow invited to lecture in Japan

Dr Nadav Drukker was invited to present a lecture series at a meeting titled "Komaba Lectures" at the University of Tokyo. He will present his recent results on the calculation of the quark-antiquark potential in maximally supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. The two other lecturers at the meeting come from Harvard University and Perimeter Institute. This is the most recent of a series of invited seminars and conference talks that Dr Drukker has presented on this subject. Recently he presented at another another conference in Tokyo (at Rikkyo University), the National Seminar in the Netherlands, the yearly Integrability in Gauge and String Theory conference, and others.

Dr Drukker is a member of the Theoretical Physics research group. He is currently an STFC Advanced Fellow in Theoretical Physics. His research interests include string theory, supersymmetric field studies and exactly soluble models. For further information, please contact Dr Drukker (nadav.drukker@kcl.ac.uk).
