BUCS

King’s finished the season 36th in BUCS competition, with six KCL and GKT teams going  undefeated. A special congratulations to the following teams for their perfect seasons:

• Women’s lacrosse 1st team
• Men’s tennis 1st team
• Women’s volleyball 1st team
• Mixed volleyball 1st team (LUSL)
• GKT men’s football 4th team (LUSL)
• GKT women’s netball 1st team (LUSL)

Varsity

This year’s annual week of competition against UCL took place this month and included some great sport moments. Although King’s fell short of the series title 20-13, our athletes brought their best game and won several exciting matches, including a 17-0 victory in women’s rugby on the final day! Macadam Cup 2017

The Macadam Cup, an annual day of competition between KCL and GKT, came down to the final game this year. Congratulations to GKT for taking home the title in dramatic fashion!

Take Time Out

The summer exam season is approaching and with it the Take Time Out campaign will be returning for the first 3 weeks of May to help you get #EXAMREADY. Stay on top of your game by taking time out for breaks, being healthy and having a little fun with friends.  Look out for events and activities at FWB Conservatory on 2nd & 3rd  May, IOPPN Hub 4th May, WEC 5th May, Maughan Library 8-12 May and Guy’s Quad 15-19 May.   Join the community and why not arrange some Take Time Out activities of your own?
