TRS participates in 'Bible Hunters' on BBC2

Dr Edward Adams and Dr Michael Ledger-Lomas of the Department of Theology and Religious Studies appear as interviewees in the television series 'Bible Hunters', currently showing on BBC2. Their interviews were filmed on the Strand campus at King's. 

The series reveals the stories of the intrepid men and women who searched Egypt in the 19th and early 20th centuries for biblical manuscripts and other ancient Christian texts. The first episode received an enthusiastic review in the Guardian.

The second episode, screened on Thursday 20 February at 21:00 (23:20 in Wales and Scotland), looks at the search for lost Gospels. Dr Adams and Dr Ledger-Lomas appear in both episodes.
