Student Visas

Help, my Student Visa has been refused!

If you have received a visa refusal, STOP.

Please follow the instructions below before attempting to submit another visa application.

Your ability to apply again will depend on the reason for your refusal, you may also benefit from submitting an Administrative Review to get the refusal overturned.

If you wish to re-apply you must have a new CAS in order to make another visa application.

In order for the university to issue this, we need to make sure you are in the best position for your next application to be successful.  We would require details of your refusal together with evidence that you can make a successful new Visa Application in order to issue a new CAS.

Please note King's is unable to offer deferrals for Postgraduate Taught programmes. In this case, you may need to re-apply for the next academic year.

Please see Student Services Online for more information.

What should I do now?

Complete the below form which will be sent to our Visa Compliance team. Make sure that you attach all required documents to enable us to assess your visa refusal accurately.

Information submitted on this form will be received by both the Visa Compliance Team and the Advice & Guidance Team.  Your information will be received in confidence and processed electronically, in accordance with our Student Support and Wellbeing (SSWS) Service User Policy and King’s College London Privacy Policy.

The Advice & Guidance Team will use the information submitted to assess your immigration options and respond to you to confirm what these might be.

We will only pass on your information to another team where you have given consent for us to do so (options are available on the last page of the form).
