Lost BRP/ Passport

 Lost/Stolen BRP outside the UK 

You first need to inform the Home Office that your BRP is lost or stolen. 

You will then need to apply for a Single Entry visa so you can re-enter the UK.
(After following the hyperlink, scroll to the section "If you're outside the UK" and click on "Apply for a 'replacement BRP visa' online".)  

Once you have re-entered the UK, you must apply for a replacement BRP within 1 month of your return.

 

Lost/Stolen BRP inside the UK 

You first need to inform the Home Office that your BRP is lost or stolen. You will then need to complete the Replacement BRP form within 3 months of losing it. Once you have submitted your application, you will need to attend UKVCAS Centre to submit your biometrics. 

When you receive your new BRP card, you will need to take it to Student Services (Strand Campus, Bush House, SE Wing, 4th Floor) so we can take a scanned copy. 

 

Lost/stolen Passport 

You should report this to your local police station and then you should refer to your embassy on how obtain a new passport.

You will also need to inform the UKVI of your new passport by completing a MCC form  

 If you get a new passport while studying you will need to take it to Student Services (Strand Campus, Bush House, SE Wing, 4th Floor) so we can take a scanned copy.
