Your Careers Essentials

While all of our services are available to all students at any time, we would encourage you to prioritise the following activities, as they have been hand-picked to help you to get the most out of your career journey.

We also have dedicated KEATS hubs for international students, distance learners and students from underrepresented groups, with tailored careers resources and support. International students can also use the Student Circus platform to explore opportunities and resources tailored for international students.

First year undergraduates

Our advice for first year undergraduates is the same whether you are in the discover, focus or action stage of your career journey.

• Explore extra-curricular activities through King’s Edge, or find part-time work using our Part-time Work guide and Part-time Work Fair.
• Discover your strengths: assess and evidence your skills using King’s Skills for the Future or our Interests, Strengths and Values micromodule.
• Complete our My Career Journey quiz on KEATS to discover where you are in your career journey and access tailored roadmap resources to support your career planning and next steps.
