Serve to shape and transform

Supporting King’s Service Strategy by connecting through culture across London and beyond

King’s Vision 2029 sets out the university’s commitment not just to transformative education and research with genuine impact, but also to serving the needs and aspirations of society. This means going beyond what is traditionally expected of a university and connecting out, beyond our campuses, in shared experiences with local, national and global communities.

King’s has a long history of working in partnership across arts and culture to help identify and meet the sector’s needs. These partnerships provide opportunities for artists and practitioners to come together in shared enquiries with King’s academic community, and they offer students the chance to serve while they learn, and learn as they serve. Structured programmes, advice and support are available to help students, staff and cultural sector partners make the most of these opportunities.

A series of hubs across our campuses enable a free flow of ideas and people, in and out, with a regular programme of events, activities and exhibitions designed to welcome communities in London and beyond into King’s.
