Trespass

Shobana Jeyasingh

Trespass is a new performance which explores the emerging possibilities for relationships between human behaviour and intelligent environments.

SD-333The performance is the first phase of a two-year collaborative partnership between academics from the Department of Informatics and the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences at King’s College London; The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL; and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance.

The aim of the project is to explore relationships between our behaviour and our environments; the ways in which creative and emotional impulses might be instantly extended to and reflected back by the architecture and structures that surround us. The project will culminate in a new piece of work for Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, and fresh academic insights.

This project has evolved from the Knowledge Producers programme, produced by the university's Culture team to support collaborations between artists and academics.
