What kind of Asylum would it feel safe enough to go mad in?

IIn April 2016 James Leadbitter, an artist who works under the title of ‘The Vacuum Cleaner’, led a participatory workshop for student mental health nurses and student psychiatrists which explored the role of staff in the creation of any Utopian asylum. This will form part of his larger project Madlove, which asks the question, in what kind of asylum could madness be experienced in a less painful way?
