EIS Departmental Seminars 2023/24

 

The Department of European & International Studies (EIS) hosts a series of research seminars across the academic year. 

Hosting academics from around the world and from within King's, the department aims to cover a broad range of topics, reflecting the wide variety of interests and specialisations within EIS.

Seminars will take place from 15.00 - 16.30.

Semester 1 (2023)

Semester 2 (2024) 

  • 6 March – Alice Wilson (Sussex) Afterlives of Revolution: Everyday Counterhistories in Southern Oman.

  • 27 March – Helen Thompson (Cambridge) - The New Disorder: Europe’s Energy Reckoning.

  • 15 May – Isabelle Hertner (KCL), Benedetta Voltolini (KCL), Edoardo Bressanelli (Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna) - The June 2024 European Elections: a roundtable on the campaign, candidates, and predicted results. (Bush House Lecture Theare 1)
