Focused Festivals

We've adapted our careers fairs into a new innovative offer for 2020-21 with our new focused festivals providing an even greater variety of options to engage our audience and build your brand through virtual activity, which continues to place direct student interaction at its heart.

You'll be able to host a virtual stand on our KEATS virtual learning environment where students will be undertaking much of their teaching and learning. We will work with you to enhance your stand and you can select from a range of additional content* you may wish to incorporate together with scheduled drop-ins or discussions across the Festival using either your own virtual platforms or our own*.

We're also inviting employers to engage in a variety of associated virtual delivery throughout the Festivals, including:

*additional costs apply for using our own IT platform and added functionality which are outlined in the booking form.

Kickstarting our new academic year, our Future Advantage Festival is designed to engage students across King's wherever they may be located in their career journey.

We'll be showcasing opportunities for part-time and casual work and volunteering together with a range of workshops on careers and employability skills, virtual internships and the graduate labour market both in the UK and internationally.

It will also be an opportunity to highlight some of the challenges posed in sectors such as the creative industries, media and hospitality which have been so hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside an introduction to help students navigate the rest of our careers provision throughout the 2020-21 year.

We want to showcase opportunities for casual work, both in-person and remotely which would previously have been incorporated into our Part-time Work Fair and welcome interest from:

  • Hospitality organisations
  • Leisure, museums and heritage organisations
  • Tutoring and teaching assistants
  • Organisations with casual office or retail work

Historically, this event has been one of our largest events in the year. As a virtual event, it's also a fantastic way to build the presence of international opportunities or virtual provision for students.

Review our main Focused Festivals page for details on what your booking includes, why we've changed our offer.
