Focused Festivals
We've adapted our careers fairs into a new innovative offer for 2020-21 with our new sector-specific focused festivals providing an even greater variety of options to engage our audience and build your brand through virtual activity, which continues to place direct student interaction at its heart.
You'll be able to host a virtual stand on our KEATS virtual learning environment where students will be undertaking much of their teaching and learning. We will work with you to enhance your stand and you can select from a range of additional content* you may wish to incorporate together with scheduled drop-ins or discussions across the Festival using either your own virtual platforms or our own*.
We're also inviting employers to engage in a variety of associated virtual delivery throughout the Festivals, including:
- Virtual panels as part of our Discover Careers In Series
- Virtual skills workshops as part of our Future Advantage Series
- Bespoke educational workshops driven by you and curated by our specialist Employer Relations & Development Advisers

This new event extends our existing Public Sector & Policy Event to focus on careers across local and national government, policy and the public sector with a highly talented and engaged cohort of students and recent alumni.
With policy at the heart of navigating through the big challenges of our time, we want to showcase the variety of roles and opportunities in organisations including:
- Local and national government
- Public services and defence
- Education and teaching
- Think tanks and policy
- Public affairs
Historically, this event has attracted a mix of students studying disciplines as far reaching as law and education and attendees will expect to meet with representatives from recruitment as well as representatives from the organisation. As a virtual event, it's also a fantastic way to build the presence of international policy organisations with our international student population.
We're keen to partner with organisations keen to deliver specific educational workshops across a range of topics and discuss case studies, lectures and events which focus our students' commercial awareness – you'll be able to express your interest in the booking form.

Student Career Journey
We are now promoting three stages of Careers Readiness to our students: Discover, Focus, Action.
Attendees from all three stages will be attending our Festivals so you will get a variety of question based on which stage they are at. These questions may be related to the following way we are promoting our events to students.
