Events

We host a series of events throughout the year in various areas in order for the student body to have a multifaceted experience. These include work experience and employability initiatives, workshops focusing on creative and digital skills, entrepreneurship programs, language learning opportunities, leadership development activities, research and academic skill-building sessions, events centred around social impact and sustainability, and programs promoting sports and wellbeing.

King's Edge Festivals

King's Edge Festivals are series of exclusive events, including workshops, insight sessions, panel discussions or networking opportunities. They showcase the best of King’s extracurricular unique offer, designed to encourage students to experience student life beyond their degrees.

King's Edge Festivals help students stand out as future innovators, leaders and service minded. By bringing a wide range of events and opportunities together, King's Edge Festivals enhance students' exploration of university's communities to inspire them in their future endeavours.

Come along to discover opportunities and build connections with people and organisations that drive positive change in our local, national, and international communities.

From one-off events to regular volunteering opportunities, there’s something for everyone. Whether you are passionate about the environment, education or mental health, King’s Volunteering can connect you with an organisation and a cause that’s right for you.

King’s Careers & Employability team offers career appointments throughout the academic year for students needing support with their journey.

Regardless of the stage of their journey (discover, focus, action), our Careers Consultants will be on hand to support you, answer questions and signpost students to helpful resources and find relevant opportunities.

A majority of appointments are booked through King’s CareerConnect. One-to-one appointments are very popular and get booked quickly, so we encourage students to sign up soon, so they do not miss a slot.
