Upcoming King's Edge Festival!

23 September 2024 to 27 September 2024, with additional events the first week of October.

The King’s Edge Festival offers a range of events to help you understand all the different offerings available to get more out of your time at university beyond academics. Find out about professional development and paid opportunities at the Part-Time Work Fair or during the sessions on 'How to Make the Most of Mentoring' and the 'King’s 100 – Get paid to give your input'. There are hands-on workshops, too, like coding with Le Wagon, and cultural experiences, including the 'My Kind of Black Exhibition'.

If you’re interested in languages, try our taster sessions in German, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian, or Portuguese. For those curious about research or funding, join panel discussions on finding grants for extracurricular activities or becoming a research fellow. The festival also highlights programmes that build leadership, entrepreneurial, and civic skills, such as the President’s Global Leadership Award, King's Enterprise Award, and the Civic Leadership Academy.
