The Sovereignty Project
During the 2015-2016 academic year, the Transnational Law Reading Laboratory focuses on the concept of Sovereignty, exploring its historical origins, normative implications and political contestations across a selection of writings in law, politics, philosophy, history and sociology.
The meetings are open to everyone, with the only requirement being the completion of the readings before the session.
This second session we will be reading David Armitage, Foundations of Modern International Thought (2013).
There will be refreshments.
This is a Transnational Law Reading Laboratory.
