Biography

Chara has studied Law (LLB) and has completed her LLM in Public International Law in 2018, at Queen Mary University of London.

She is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and prior to joining King’s, she held compliance positions and practiced as a litigation lawyer.

Teaching

5AAOB209: Politics of Central and Eastern Europe 

Doctoral research

Her research focuses on conflict-related violence against women and it seeks to establish whether elected female politicians influence the levels of violence against women and girls. Her work focuses on Latin America, and more specifically on Colombia.
