Biography
Dr Frances Conti-Ramsden is completing an MRC fellowship funded PhD in the Department of Women and Children’s Health, and is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrar working in the NHS. Her research interests are high-risk pregnancy, particularly Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and equity and inclusion in research. Her PhD is focusing on using health data science approaches including electronic health records, genomics, artificial intelligence and natural language processing to investigate variation in outcomes in pregnancy hypertension across maternal ethnic groups, with the aim of improving risk stratification and prediction tools. She is passionate about women's health, equity and diversity in research and using data and technology to empower women to understand and improve their health across the life course.
