Jone De Roode Jauregi

Jone is Senior Climate and Sustainability Officer for King’s Climate & Sustainability, a cross-university drive to rapidly scale our response to the climate emergency through our research, education, operations and action. She is responsible for leading and managing the engagement aspects of this strategic priority for King’s. Key responsibilities include the development of an engagement plan and associated activities, managing projects in support of the King’s Climate & Sustainability Action Plan, leading the King’s Climate Action Network (CAN) and engaging with students, staff and external partners to champion sustainability.

Jone joined King’s Climate & Sustainability in April 2021, after completing her BSc in International Management at King’s in 2021. She wrote her dissertation on changes in pro-environmental behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic. During her studies, she was actively involved in the King’s Climate Action Network as a volunteer.
