Biography
Lloyd is a Senior Lecturer at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London. Within the Professional Law Institute, Lloyd is the Module Lead for Litigation on the MSc Law & Professional Practice, and teaches Commercial Law & Practice.
Lloyd is a solicitor (non-practising), a Fellow of the HEA and holds a MA in Academic Practice and an LLB Law degree.
Lloyd practised as a Dispute Resolution lawyer from 2008 – 2015 with a mixed commercial and civil caseload at Blaser Mills LLP. In additional to his fee earning duties, Lloyd was a member of the Business Development Team and Mentor to the firm’s trainee solicitors.
In 2015 Lloyd joined St Mary’s University, where he taught Commercial Law and Professional Legal Skills & Ethics, Insurance Contract Law, and International Trade Law. He developed a Commercial Awareness seminar series and a suite of key events linking the Law School to the legal profession. In 2021 Lloyd took a Senior Tutor role at The University of Law and was part of the Central Management Team at Guildford, Reading & Southampton as Programme & Student Lead for the Legal Practice Course. There, Lloyd taught Commercial Law & Practice and Dispute Resolution.
