Community networks
Communities are an integral part of life at King’s. Joining a staff community network can be a transformative experience – enhancing your engagement with the university, providing opportunities to connect with colleagues, and enabling meaningful participation in key decision-making and strategic initiatives.
The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Team helps to facilitate and support staff networks that aim broadly to:
- Provide support to staff with particular protected characteristics
- Develop a sense of community, particularly through shared experience
- Enable staff from these groups to provide representation in areas of policy, strategy and review
- Provide a consultation forum for the university to gather views on particular developments
If you have any questions around communities and networks, or if you’d like support in setting up a staff network at Kings, contact the EDI team via our enquiry form.
