King's Sustainability have been working with students, staff and alumni to develop an interdisciplinary KEATS Sustainability & Climate Module and seminar series, covering topics from Indigenous worldviews and digital sustainability to green finance and social justice.
We want to continue co-creating with students, organise in-person and online events, revamp our digital sustainability section, create graphics and respond to student feedback. And we're open to other ideas!
We strongly welcome any students studying any degree and staff in any role to join our Sustainability Take Action Team. Sustainability is a diverse field, relevant to everyone. Collaboration between people from all disciplines and professions is crucial for driving transformative change.
What’s in it for you?
- Develop a variety of skills including content creation, e-learning, project management, organisation and time management, science communication, critical thinking, digital education, social media communications and more.
- Gain a Sustainability Award at the end of the academic year as recognition of your invaluable support. Log your volunteering hours on King’s Volunteering platform to gain other rewards.
- Network with other students, staff, and professional services. Previous volunteers have said they now ‘feel closer’ to King’s and this extra-curricular activity has boosted their confidence in their employability.
