Disability Careers Support

King’s Careers & Employability is committed to making its full range of services available to all students. Whether you are a wheelchair user, visually impaired, dyslexic or any have any other disability, we aim to bring all career information to you whilst considering your personal circumstances.

Hence, we have launched a new disability careers support KEATS page.

How can I get support?

Appointments

Individuals looking for longer appointments can sign up to our Careers+ programme, which includes 30-minute Career Coaching which are bookable up to 2 weeks in advance. You can also book our standard appointments such as 20-minute Application Advice and 50-minute Practice Interviews.

Events

We endeavour to hold our on-campus events in accessible venues and every effort is made to ensure that you can fully participate in events. At our career fairs, you can benefit from 15 minutes access before other students, to enable you to browse the event in a more relaxed environment.

We can also provide an outline of the session content, slide decks in advance, someone to assist you in finding the room, or help you communicate with the event organiser to express your needs. Contact our team to arrange any other additional support if needed.
