Take part in the King’s Life festival and explore how to make a positive impact

King's Life festival

This March we are celebrating serving our society with the King's Life festival. Come along and discover how valuable your impact can be as a vital member of the King’s community.

Taking place on Wednesday 16 March in the Franklin-Wilkins Building restaurant on Waterloo campus, the festival will showcase a variety of initiatives, services and societies that aim to make a positive impact in our King’s community and beyond.

Explore a variety of King’s services and find how you can get involved in the exciting opportunities and support they have to offer, from volunteering to paid roles such as working as a student ambassador.

Learn more about gaining skills to continue your positive impact beyond King’s and get involved in engaging workshops like 'Liberating the Classroom' and 'Decolonising the Curriculum'.

Discover more about the King’s community and its campuses through a walking tour, or team up with friends and take part in our scavenger hunt across Strand and Guy’s campuses. You can also share your ideas and connect with others through our Positive Impact board.

There is so much on offer to support your experience at King’s. Explore King's Life through the Life at King's app. Use the passphrase studentlife22 to access the guide and find out more about the festival and other events and opportunities this March.

Log your volunteering hours

If you do undertake voluntary activities in March, make sure to log your hours as part of King's Global Day of Service by completing the short Global Day of Service impact form. This way we can keep track of our positive impact and celebrate your contributions.
